Not sure why but was a bit excited about the run cause its the first time doing above 10k... neways i have prepared enough and its just the timing which i hope to achieve..... was telling everyone 1:45 to 1:50 ..... sure i would achieve it...
Didnt have a good night sleep as had some beer the night before.... was good as Liverpool thrashed Chelsea 2-0....... wanted to sleep at 11pm just after the match... but was turning around in bed and had to wake up about 3 times just to pee..... then the alarm clocked rang at 4.45am.... got ready in about half an hour and went down.... but OMG .... perut sakit again.... had to pit stop at the swimming toilet to lepas again.... luckily not during the run...
Upon reaching the boathouse (the starting line) i heard the gun went off.... signalling the starting of 30km at 6am sharp.... queue up abit at the toilet and went to the starting line.... met up with Wendy, Jaja, Khairul, Azman, and suprisingly Mon (triahthele i met at Chin Woo Biathlon) , Daniel (veteran runner at Kiara, damn fast).... chat a bit and got ready at the starting line.... was a bit kiasu so went in front .... dont want to waste precious seconds waiting for the jam at the starting point....
Sharp at 630am the gun was let off..... everyone was sprinting like mad.... we were running like 30 minutes in the dark.... manage to keep to my pace.... some were faster and gotta let them go off.... just followed a small sized lady runner.... God she was good..... upon reaching hartamas she was way infront of me already...... reach the water stop at hartamas at 54mins.... stilll quite good but gotta pick up the pace for me to finish under 1:50.... last 5km was already struggling but still manage to keep the pace... few runners especially 30km fella were overtaking me ...... as the finishing line looms... manage to pick up the pace and overtake one runner before powering through the finish line..... it was a real good run... finish in 1:48 ..... in 36th place.... not bad huh for a first timer doing 20k....
just lepak with the guys and went back home at 1030 am... some runners were only making their way back... hats off to them for the determination to complete the race....

damn sorry bro.... guess i am the culprit that made you cun sleep the nite before the race. sorry man.....
but the good news is our team manage the win. as the team theme song, "You Will Never Walk Alone".
good job on the run. am sure you will be going higher level after this 20K. hehehe.....
