Biathlon (5/5/07)
after the standard body marking and registration, we were ready to go... biathlon was quite short only 800m swim and 5km run.... manage to finish in ngam ngam 50mins at 12th place.... 22mins swim and 28mins run including transition.... calf was starting to cramp .... which was not supposed to be a good sign....
went early for dinner and suprisingly we were allowed to eat at 7pm.... guess most ppl was suprised when they started eating... we were already having our desert..... LOL..... but the food was fantastic..... compared to A Famosa..... at least we were treated to a good meal by Bkt Merah Resort....

Got up early at 530 am as dont wanna miss the breakfast..... there was some drizzle early in the morning that dampen the spirit a bit.... however after the registration..... we were ready for the start.....

Finishing the 2nd loopFlag off was sharp at 8am... we gotta swim 2 loops which seems to be further than 1.5km... what pisses me off was when we got up during the 1st loop.... the MC was shouting "Dont worry only one small loop left" Then i shouted back "What one small loop left?? Its a big loop" Could hear the spectators laughing..... Manage to get up at 45mins..... what 45 mins for 1.5km?? something is not right here...... i cant be swimming so slow .... but later everyone was estimating the course to be at about 2km..... that Benjamin Samson..... came out of the water at 25mins.... super fast eh.... dont forget he beat our own superstar swimmer Daniel Bego by 1 sec during the Kapas - Marang Swimathon last few weeks....
